Our Story

Born from a love of Indian craft

Aara began in 2016 as a single rail of handloom saris in a quiet Dombivli lane. What started as founder Aaradhya Deshpande's weekend passion — sourcing weaves directly from artisans across Banaras, Kutch and Bengal — grew into a boutique loved across Mumbai.

We believe clothing should feel personal. That's why every visit begins with a conversation, not a catalogue. Whether it's your wedding trousseau or the perfect festive drape, our stylists take the time to understand you — your body, your budget, and the moment you're dressing for.

Each piece we stock supports the hands that made it. We work with small weaving clusters and karigars, keeping traditional techniques alive one garment at a time.
